At IAAN School of Mass Communication, Learning Goes Beyond the Classroom!

We believe that true mediaeducation is not confined to textbooks, lectures, or assignments alone. To prepare our students for the dynamic and fast-paced world of journalism and broadcasting, IAAN provides extensive hands-on experience through real-world industry exposure.

Recently, our students had the incredible opportunity to visit the India TV studio where they witnessed a live prime-time debate unfold right before their eyes. This immersive experience allowed them to observe the intricate workings of a professional newsroom, including live broadcasting, production coordination, and on-air communication.

Such visits are a vital part of IAAN’s teaching approach, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Our students gain valuable insights into how newsrooms operate under pressure, how stories are shaped live on air, and how media professionals think on their feet.

At IAAN, we go beyond traditional classroom teaching to ensure students are well-prepared to face the challenges of the media industry confidently. This combination of classroom learning and live industry exposure equips our students with the skills, confidence, and mindset they need to excel in careers across journalism, television, digital media, and more.

Because at IAAN, we don’t just teach media — we bring the media world to life for our students.
